Meet The Main Characters
Bradford Trumper
Known by everyone simply as Trumper, and derisively labelled the San Francisco Serpico because of his incorruptible character, he is a target for both the criminal element of society and those in the Force who fear his honesty. Retired from the Police Force at age 44 to try to save his marriage, he becomes involved with the teenager, Cassie Monroe, and embarks on a life-threatening investigation with her and Darcie O’Sullivan into the operations of Hope Clinic, the exclusive surgical hospital in Chula Vista.
Cassie Monroe
On the run from Diamond’s men who have killed her companion, she finds Trumper fishing in Yellowstone National Park and pleads with him to help her. Together they try to keep ahead of Diamond and his heavies, while uncovering the true nature of the operations of Hope Clinic.
Diamond
Owner of a thriving cleaning business in Southern California, he has had a previous run-in with Trumper over the illegal importation of Mexican workers. Hired by the directors of Hope Clinic to recruit donors for organ transplants, he becomes both the hunter and the prey in the cat and mouse pursuit with Trumper and Cassie Monroe.
Lexi Trumper
Kidnapped by Diamond’s men in New Zealand and held ransom to attract Trumper into an ambush, she is not noticed as missing by her mother for three days until rescued by her father. On returning to California with Trumper she forms a tight emotional bond with Cassie.
Darcie O’Sullivan
A nurse at Hope Clinic and best friends with Cassie, she becomes instrumental in obtaining evidence from Hope’s records of improprieties in the procedures at the Clinic. Her involvement places her in danger from Diamond.
Colonel James Blakestone
A friend of Trumper’s uncle and recently widowed, he agrees to Lexi staying with him at Perris Beach to keep her out of sight of Diamond and his men. He becomes infatuated with Lexi and treats her like his own granddaughter. The two form a close, but innocent, relationship. She calls him Uncle James, much to his delight.

Meet the Main characters
Katherine Ralston
Political Editor of the Boston Herald, she is targeted by the serial bomber to champion his cause by editorializing the bombings in Boston, and proclaim warnings to the Government of a final act of ‘liberation’ on Independence Day
John St. John
A young mountain of a man who brings Kathy Ralston her breakfast every morning, and whose raw physical appearance has won her heart. Seemingly naïve, he harbors a dark secret that will endanger Kathy’s life.
Damien Jennings
Senior Detective with the Boston Police, and a personal friend of Kathy Ralston. Noted for his casual, yet highly successful, method of solving the most difficult of crimes.
Mike Delaney
Jennings’ ‘Man Friday’, Delaney plays the ‘Bad Cop’ role to shake down suspects, while his boss portrays the part of the of the understanding ‘father figure’ investigator. It is an effective combination that seldom fails to solve cases.
Bob Axelrod
Chief editor of the Boston Herald. Always wanting to feel a part of the investigating team, but never able to keep up with proceedings. Axelrod is invariably more concerned with getting an exclusive story than he is in seeing justice done.
‘Joseph’
The unknown bomber with a political grievance who sends Kathy Ralston cryptic emails announcing each act of terror in a cat-and-mouse game of ‘catch me if you can’ with the authorities.

Meet the Main characters
Bradford Trumper
Now back on the force, this time as a detective with the LAPD, Trumper is searching for his beloved Cassie, all the while trying to identify who is apparently seeking to eliminate all who were responsible for the closing down of the organ transplant harvesting operation at Hope Clinic.
Lexi Trumper
Trumper’s fifteen-year-old daughter has teemed up with her father to look for Cassie in Canada. Matured well beyond her years from the experiences she has endured at the hands of Diamond’s men, she adds an invaluable dimension to Trumper’s investigations, and to Cassie Monroe’s prospects of staying alive.
Cassie Monroe
On the run from the Police and the remains of Diamond’s thugs, she has orchestrated for herself a life in a small rural Canadian township in Saskatchewan, where she can live in peace and harmony with her newfound friends. Until Trumper and Lexi find her.
Darcie O’Sullivan
The main competitor for Trumper’s affections, now that Cassie Monroe has removed herself from the race, Darcie has forged a relationship with Lexi to protect and nurture her while her mother has disappeared from the scene, and her father is back doing what he likes most – upholding the Law.
Jessica Trumper
Incensed that she has been pushed aside, she returns from New Zealand to California, demanding that Trumper take her back so that the ‘family’ can be together again. She threatens legal action if Trumper refuses, adding to the problems Trumper and his daughter are facing daily.
Colonel James Blakestone
Increasingly infatuated with the young Lexi Trumper, the Colonel takes her to Detroit to meet his daughter and her family, in preparation for bequeathing the house at Perris Beach to Lexi.
The Presidium
Meet the Main characters
Mal Gibbs
FBI Agent, recruited by the CIA to investigate the Presidium Group and their threat to the Middle East Oil Fields.
Ana Barros
Member of The Presidium, she teams up with Gibbs after he rescues her from being abducted by the European Consortium. Together, they plan to bring down The Presidium by eliminating their principal operatives.
Boris Nabokov
The lovable Russian spy who charms his way into the bedrooms of influential women across Europe and in America to further his political influence with the European Consortium.
Natasha
The beautiful young girl from Lexington who falls in love with Nabokov and is instrumental in the Russian reforming his behavior and his political future.
Barry McClure
Partner of Gibbs, he provides the perfect foil for Gibbs’ no-nonsense interrogation approach as together they shake down suspects to solve the most difficult cases.
Pavel Pudovkin and his superior, Comrade Nikonov
The principal figures in the Presidium organization, they are committed to finding the four codes that will lead to the treasure that will enable them to finance their desire to restore Russia to it’s position as a world superpower.
The Seduction of Marshall Clarke
Meet the Main characters
Marshall Clarke
A successful Macquarie Street specialist, he is the principal character in this stock market sting.
Veronica West
The beautiful seductress sent by her boss, Dale Jackson, to find out from Marshall the whereabouts of his stolen drugs, by any means possible.
Claire Dobson
Marshall’s faithful secretary who would do anything for Marshall, the man she loves.
Dale Jackson
Known simply as Jackson, the select distributor in Australia of Colombian cocaine, plus a number of gaming and prostitution establishments, he has an ego bigger than the Sydney Opera House, which makes him a perfect target for a ‘sting.’
Marlene Foster
Former girlfriend of Marshall and wife of his close friend, she still has deep feelings for Marshall, which adds to the tension amongst the principals in the plot to take Jackson down.
Doug Foster
Long-time friend of Marshal, and director of the company to be used in the sting against Jackson.
